This recipe is a take on the traditional german dish ” SCHNITZEL”. I served it with a lemon butter which is spiced with a kick of pink peppercorn. Perfect for a quick lunch with a side of green salad.
*8 pork chops
*150 grs of breadcrumbs
*50 grs of flour
*50 grs of butter
*1 tsp of crushed pink peppercorn
1.Flatten the pork chops using a meat tenderizer.
2.Take 3 plates , place the flour on the first one , the beaten eggs on the second one and the breadcrumbs on the last one.
3.One by one , coat the chops in flour , eggs then breadcrumbs, repeating the process for the remaining pork.
4.In a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius , bake the schnitzel for 25 minutes or until the crumbs are crispy and golden.
5.In a saucepan , melt the butter with the juice and zest of a lemon and the pink peppercorn . Cook until fully melted and lightly colored.
6.Once served pour some butter on each schnitzel.
