Teurgoule

For people that are not familiar with teurgoule . It is a Normandy specialty consisting of rice , milk , sugar and cinnamon baked slowly in the oven , Basically a baked rice pudding. I got the traditional recipe form the “ Confrerie de la teurgoule et de la fallue de normandie “ which is a brotherhood who protect the original recipes and share their knowledge.

Teurgoule

Recipe:
*2 liter of milk
*150 grs of pudding rice
*180 grs of sugar
*1 pinch of salt
*2 tsp of cinnamon
*1/2 vanilla pod ( optional)

1.Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
2.In a large round baking dish , mix together all the ingredients.
3.Bake 5 hours at 150 degrees Celsius .
4.Once cook , wait until cold before eating.
