Brioche cinnamon swirl

This post is about the combination of two of the best pastries  ever , Brioche and cinnamon roll.  I recently tried cinnamon rolls and found the bread a little dry . And since i LOVE brioche  , there was no doubt that realising the recipe with brioche instead will be delicious .

Brioche cinnamon swirlIngredients:

For the dough:

*500 grs of flour

*1×7 grs sachet of fast action yeast

*60 grs of sugar

*60 grs of butter

*2 eggs

*1 pinch of salt

*150 ml of warm milk

For the cinnamon sugar:

*1/2 cup of sugar

*1 tbsp of cinnamon

For the glaze:

*1 cup of icing sugar

*1 tbsp of water

1.Mix together the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.

2.Add the beaten eggs and the softened butter.

3.Gradually add the warm milk and start to knead until the dough is soft and doesn’t stick .

4.Form a ball with the dough , place in a bowl and cover, let it rise for an hour and half.

5.Once risen , flatten the dough in a rectangle shape . In a bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon together then sprinkle over the dough.

6.Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

7.Roll up the dough tightly , seal by pinching the edges of the dough.Cut into 2 cm slices.

8.Place the brioche slices in a greased baking pan. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.

9.Once cooked let it rest 10 minutes. Mix the icing sugar with the sugar until obtaining a smooth texture , then drizzle over the brioche .

10. Wait until the glaze has hardened before serving.

Bon appetit
